ALPINE Summit Senjōjiki Cirque – Beginner – Intermediate Alpine Climbing Training in Nagano Japan

Take on this opportunity for your first alpine training and summit push – take things one step at a time with our careful certified JMGA guides to feel reassured and confident to reach the peak! Don’t be too overwhelmed by the idea of this day – the location is carefully picked and the day designed to achieve success for everyone, whilst in a manageable, safe environment.

Training: Teaching basic mountaineering gear use, snow/ice hiking skills, reading weather & planning trip, how and what to pack. Applied in safe contained environments to practice emergency procedures, steep climbing techniques and terrain awareness.

Summit Push: With everyone set, make a push to the summit! Leaving ample time to soak up the views and make a safe descent off the mountain before sun down and our final walk out by sundown.

Experience: Beginner-Intermediate Level (3+ Hiking / Mountain trips experience)

How to get there – best and easiest way from Tokyo is to take the Highway Bus and we will provide pick up from Komagane Bus Terminal, taking approx 3.5-4hrs.
