Ice Climbing Tour + L2 @ Yonago-fudo Jan 23-24 Join our short expedition style experience to Japan’s tallest Ice Water Fall formation close to Nagano City Japan. With an alpine start for early approach on ski-mobile then skis, take basics training or refresh and warm up on the ice! Stay overnight in modest mountain lodge with meals provided (bring your own lunches!). Enjoy another half day climbing with our certified alpine guides (ACMG, JMGA) who will expertly teach you all the fundamentals for your climb.

Day 01: Start 08:00 – Check gear & start approach, refresh ice climbing gear use & snow/ice hiking skills, ice climb on top rope, introduction leading – Man-made/natural
Day 02: Start (08:00) for approach to crag, 15-30m single pitch route top rope & lead climbing, lunch & descend – natural ice fall

Price: ¥75,000 p/day per person (including mountain lodge & dinner/breakfast)
Participants: Max 12 climbers per instructor

Language:Japanese, Chinese & English
Requirements: Good level of fitness, experience hiking, comfortable in sub zero temperature with suitable outdoor wear.
Gear: Boots, helmet, headlamp, crampons, ice axe – Also available for rent ( ¥5,000 per set)
Experience: Intermediate can top-rope and interest to possibly start lead climb or at least learn the basics of screw placement
