We offer combined tours with training – for first timers through to advanced in English, Japanese & Chinese (Mandarin).

Rock Climbing / Saku Crag, Nagano

Duration: 1 day or 2 days option (Guests to arrange overnight accommodation)
Location:
Saku, Nagano
Experience: Beginner Level to Intermediate Level
An easily accessible and growing in popularity for groups from Tokyo, the Saku crag is only a 5 minute approach, offers forgiving climbs for beginners with a wide variety of grades up to 5.13 to challenge the experts. 
It’s a great beginner spot to feel comfortable with little exposure along with a great chance of progression with routes gradually increasing from 5.9 up to 5.11 within a small area – so everyone of every experience can find a challenge!

*Training & schedule is weather dependent for safety. During extreme storms training may be delayed or postponed to another date.

Language:Japanese & English (Chinese on request)
Requirements:
Good level of fitness, some climbing experience ideally.
Gear: Approach shoes, climbing shoes, helmet, climbing harness, self arrest belay device – Also available for rent
Grading: Beginner Level to Intermediate Level (US 5.8-5.10, FR 5-6b)
/ Intermediate to advanced (US 5.13+ /8c+)

Rock Climbing Tour / Ogawayama, Nagano

Duration: 2 days / 1 night (Mountain Lodge Accomodation or Camping)

Ogawayama ranges 小川山 up to 2,400m+, Nagano
Experience: Beginner Level to Intermediate Level / Advanced available
What is known as one of the two top climbing mecca’s of Japan with countless routes. Boasting great bouldering, sport climbing, trad climbing and some lovely multi-pitch and alpine style routes on Japan’s hard granite.
Suitable for anyone, whether you are a beginner, from indoors to outdoors or experienced and wanting to progress further and have guidance of experienced instructors. Join as a group, or schedule private guiding we will take you to some of the best classic routes and mix styles from slab, crack through to overhangs.

MOUNTAIN INSURANCE POLICY –

Included in tour & training is our backcountry insurance for any incidents or evacuation covering up to ¥5m. However it is our policy that each participant has a valid personal insurance which covers ‘extreme activities’ including backcountry & mountain climbing. We recommend :

• If you have touring boots, provide sole length in mm (find on side of heel)
